Affiliate Disclosure
Zuvrix is free to read because some of our links earn a commission. Here is exactly how that works, and what it doesn’t buy.
How Zuvrix makes money
We run affiliate links. When a review points you to a product and you subscribe through that link, the vendor pays Zuvrix a share of the sale. That revenue is what pays for the research time, the hosting, and the writing.
The alternatives, for a site this size, are advertising or a paywall. Ad networks would put us in the business of chasing traffic, and a paywall would keep the reviews away from most of the people who need them. Affiliate revenue is the least bad option we’ve found, and it comes with an obvious conflict of interest, which is why this page exists.
What the commission does not change
- What we recommend. Verdicts come out of the research, not out of which programme pays better.
- What we’re willing to publish. Plenty of Zuvrix reviews conclude that the reader should not buy the product, or should buy something we earn nothing from.
- The price you pay. An affiliate link never costs you more. Where one carries a discount, that’s the vendor’s promotion, not a fee we’ve added.
- Editorial control. No affiliate partner sees a review before it’s published, approves the wording, or has any route to get one changed afterwards.
Which links are affiliate links
Any link that takes you to a vendor’s checkout or sign-up page should be assumed to be one, including the buttons in our verdict boxes. Reviews that contain affiliate links carry a marker in the article header, and this notice sits in the footer of every page on the site.
Links to documentation, audit reports, news coverage, and other publications are never affiliate links. We don’t get paid for those.
If you’d rather we didn’t earn anything
That’s completely fine, and it doesn’t cost you the review. Read the piece, then type the vendor’s address into your browser yourself and buy directly. You’ll get the same product at the same price, and we’ll get nothing. The reviews stay free either way.
Programmes we take part in
Zuvrix takes part in one affiliate programme: Nord Security, which covers NordVPN and NordPass. Those are the two products the site currently reviews, so every affiliate link on Zuvrix points to one of them. If that ever changes, this list changes with it.
